We held a 90th Birthday luncheon for my Mom on a Saturday afternoon in November for about 50 people. I cannot say enough about this facility (clean and looked very nice), the great people, great service and wonderful food. We received so many compliments about everything, and the staffed worked with us on all the details for the party. In planning for the party the staff was very flexible and was willing to modify the way they typically do things to be competitive with another venue we were looking at. We started with Hors D’Oeuvres served butler style and the servers worked the room to include those standing, and those who were seated. The meal included soup, rolls & butter, salad, entrée with vegetable and starch (potato in our case), and dessert. The pricing was very competitive and the party went smoothly. I highly recommend The Avalon to anyone who needs a banquet facility for their event.
